DARK SOULS III: The Ringed City

A city surrounded by a stone ring of mountains and cliffs, bestowed upon the pygmies by the Great Lord Gwyn, known from the history of the first game in the series. This place became their home, but at the same time, they were trapped within it. The knights of the city behind the wall fought alongside dragon slayers during the war of the Ancient Lords against the dragons, but their feats, like the city itself, were forgotten.

Here, you can also find a hideous-looking petrified structure known as the "Monolith of Purification." It was formed from a mass of flesh and bones of countless ravaged beings that overflowed an old well, ultimately becoming the foundation of the monument. With the help of this sculpture, the player can ask for forgiveness or undergo a ritual of absolution.

Dark Souls III: The Ringed City will offer you new locations with enemies of unprecedented strength and power. In this expansion, it genuinely feels like Miyazaki's team decided to crank the difficulty up to the max. New gear and weapons available in the DLC will help level the playing field. One thing is certain - The Ringed City has become a truly epic conclusion to the great saga.
